MODEL SPOTLIGHT
Fiberfab is noted for building some of the highest quality kit cars of the 1960s & 1970s. The Avenger GT replaced the Aztec model, with styling reminiscent of the Ford GT40. Avenger GT12's used stout Volkswagen Beetle underpinnings and mechanics, mounting the curvaceous three-piece body on the VW pan. A bespoke dashboard and seats helped set the Avenger apart from other kit cars. The low-weight fiberglass body resulted in a curb weight of 500lbs. less than a comparable beetle! This and a low center of gravity blessed the Avenger with fine handling characteristics that belied its humble underpinnings. Though thousands of kits were delivered between 1966 and 1978, though few survive today.

HISTORY
The original owner traded this Fiberfab into the Central Auto Group in the mid-1990s. One of the managers there then purchased it from the trade-in group and treated it to a full, professional restoration in the mid-1990s. Every aspect of the Fiberfab was overhauled or replaced. He then carefully stored and maintained the Fiberfab until recently trading it in at AlphaCars.

CONDITION
This Avenger GT12 is in excellent condition. There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle, above or below. Body panels are straight and impressive in their originality & condition. The Exterior paint is excellent and shows very well. Windows are clean and clear throughout. The interior is truly impressive. All surfaces, including carpets, are clean with minimal to no wear. There are no strange odors in the cabin. The engine and powertrain are in excellent condition, running strongly and shifting positively. The suspension carries over from VW and has no issues. The undercarriage, suspension pieces, heat exchangers, and floor pans are all solid with no rust. We encourage you to view the comprehensive video detailing vehicle condition.
