Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a craft. PDR replaces the need to take an automobile to a body shop, leaving it for several days (sometimes longer!) and spending hundreds of dollars getting a ding or dent repaired. Now, thanks to PDR, repairs can be performed quicker, for less money.
Cost savings aside, one of the strongest benefits of the PDR is the fact that original factory finish is maintained. By avoiding traditional body work, panel refinishing and usually required panel disassembling overall vehicle integrity is kept at factory original standards.
To perform a Paintless Dent Repair, a skilled technician uses hardened metal rods and picks with Teflon tips to massage out dings and dents from the inside of the panel. In simpler terms, the ding or dent is pushed out.
The most important aspect of PDR is not the diameter but the depth. Often very large, shallow dents can be removed. It is the best when vehicle paint is not damages. If it is, our exterior repair technician will improve appearance of the paint damage after PDR work is done.
The cost for this unique service starts from $135 per panel and includes up to five dents. Most parking lot dings will qualify for this pricing. To repair dents larger than size of a golf ball may cost more. We will provide an estimate for your approval before performing any work that is not included in $135 per panel pricing.
